St. Petersburg in many colors
In “Wikipedia Loves Petersburg” competition there were 13 prizes total in various nominations. The contest was intent to give an illustrative material for encyclopedical project «Wikipedia», as well as to draw attention to architectural heritage of St. Petersburg protection. 10 winners that will represent Russia in all-European part of the competition were selected from more than 4472 works.
All winners are newbies on Commons. They have created their accounts specially to take part in the competition.
An exhibition of the competition winners will be open in St. Petersburg on 2nd of November (more info on the exhibition). (blog post by Анастасия Львова)
