Wiki Loves Monuments has the pleasure to present the winning pictures of the international finale of the photo contest 2023! The jury – thank you to all who took part in it! – completed its deliberations in February 2024, and we officially announced the winners through out social media channels today.
In 2023 almost 220.000 images have been contributed by more than 4.700 photographers in 46 national contests. Up to ten pictures from each of these competitions could be nominated to the international finale. A warm thank-you from the international coordination team to the international jury, the national juries and national organizers, all the photographers that submitted their amazing photos that can now be used on Wikipedia and its sister projects, and everyone that helped make this competition possible!
